What happens to my automations and leads if I cancel or downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. If your new plan allows fewer accounts or automations, we warn you first and pause the extras after 7 days, until you upgrade or pick which stay on.

Nothing is deleted

Your automations, leads, connected accounts and history all stay. A smaller plan only changes how many accounts and automations can run at the same time.

If you cancel a paid plan

You keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. Then your automations stop, and the dashboard shows Subscription canceled.

Click Reactivate to carry on with the free plan. It is free. The free plan runs 1 Instagram account and 2 automations at a time. See What does the free plan include?

The 7-day notice

Moving from Scale to Pro, or from a paid plan to the free plan, can leave you over the new limits. This is what happens then:

  1. Within a day, we email you. An amber banner also appears in the dashboard.
  2. The banner says what is over and the date the extras pause. It also says Nothing is deleted.
  3. For the next 7 days, everything keeps working.
  4. After 7 days, the extras pause. We email you again.

You cannot connect another account above your limit during this time.

You choose what stays on

Accounts: open Accounts in the menu. The page is called Channels. A paused account shows Paused · over plan limit.

  1. Open the box that says “Make @username active”.
  2. Click Make active. If no slot is free, pick which account pauses instead.
  3. Click Pause it and make this one active.

If the account you choose has too many automations, its newest ones pause at once.

Automations: a paused automation shows Paused · over plan limit. Switch another one off first, then switch on the one you want.

If you choose nothing, we keep your earliest connected accounts and your oldest automations running.

What a paused account does

A paused account does nothing. It sends no DMs and no replies, and it captures no new leads. It stays connected, so you do not have to log in again.

Two things still work on a paused account. A person who replies STOP is still opted out. If someone unsends a message that held their email or phone, that detail is still deleted.

Nothing waits in a queue while it is paused. When it comes back, it does not send old messages late.

Your leads stay yours

  • Every lead you captured is kept.
  • On the free plan, you see the first 1,000 leads in your Lead Inbox. Upgrading shows the rest.
  • Export CSV works on every plan. On the free plan, the file holds the 1,000 leads you can see.

Coming back later

Upgrade again from Billing. Paused accounts and automations come back straight away, or at the latest within a day. You do not need to set anything up again.
