How to make an automation stop on a set date

Removing an end date is free on every plan.
On Pro and Scale, open the automation, turn on “Give this campaign an end date” and pick the last day. It stops at 23:59 UTC that day, with no replies, no DMs and no new leads.
Open Automations →What it does
A campaign end date makes an automation stop on its own. A limited-time offer cannot keep replying after it is over. Without a date, an automation runs until you pause it.
Setting an end date is on the Pro and Scale plans.
Steps
- Open Automations and click the automation.
- Scroll to End this campaign.
- Turn on Give this campaign an end date.
- Under Last day (UTC), pick the day. The earliest you can pick is tomorrow.
- Click Save end date. It saves straight away, without Save & activate.
What happens on the last day
- The automation stops at 23:59 UTC on the day you picked.
- After that it sends no public replies and no DMs, and adds no new leads. The one exception is the closing message below, if you write one.
- Someone who already tapped your button before the end still gets what you promised them.
- The automation stays in your list, untouched. It shows This campaign has ended.
Tell late messages the offer has closed
When the end date is on, you can fill in What to say if someone messages you after it ends. After the end, anyone who comments your keyword or sends it to you in a DM gets this text as a DM. Leave it empty to say nothing.
This message saves with Save & activate, not with the date. Start it by saying it is an automated reply, as the suggested wording does.
Replavia never posts a public “offer closed” reply under comments.
Good to know
- New to automations? Start with How to create an automation.
- Lives and stories need this most. An automation for live comments, story replies or story mentions has no single post to end with. It answers every live and story from now on. If it was for one occasion, set that day as the end date.
- To start an ended campaign again, turn off Give this campaign an end date. The date is removed and the automation runs again.
- If you move from Pro or Scale to Free, your end date still works. You cannot change it, but you can always remove it with Remove end date.
- The day is in UTC, not your local time. Check the time difference for your country.
