How does Replavia answer kind comments like “love this”?

Last updated

Plans: Free: not included · Pro: included · Scale: included

On Pro and Scale, a kind comment gets a short, warm thank-you. Once an account has 10 saved replies in its reply library, those comments are answered in your own words, at no AI cost.

Why this matters

Kind comments deserve an answer, and replying shows people a real account is listening. But typing “thank you so much!” fifty times a day is not a good use of your time. Replavia drafts these replies for you.

Which comments count as kind

Replavia looks for warm words and emoji, such as “love”, “amazing”, “gorgeous”, “so good”, ❤️ or 🔥. The comment must also be about you or your post.

  • “Love this!”

    What happens
    A thank-you reply.
  • “Stunning 😍”

    What happens
A thank-you reply. Very short praise counts.
  • “I love Paris in the spring”

    What happens
No reply. The praise is not about you or your post.
  • “Love it, do you ship to Canada?”

    What happens
    Treated as a question.

Questions always come first. A comment that asks something gets an answer from your facts, not a thank-you. See AI answers to questions.

Comments with words like “scam”, “refund” or “worst” never get a reply. Neither do comments with links or many @mentions.

Where the reply comes from

There are two sources, tried in this order:

  1. Your reply library. Once an account has 10 different saved replies, Replavia picks one of them. No AI writes it, so it uses nothing from your monthly allowance.
  2. The AI. If the library is not ready, the AI writes a fresh thank-you. It is told to sound genuine, add one small touch that fits your brand, and vary its wording.

Why the library waits for 10 replies

With only three replies, people would see the same three sentences under every comment. That reads as a bot, to your followers and to Instagram. So the library stays off until it has 10 different replies.

It also rotates them:

  • The same saved reply rests for 3 hours after each use.
  • A post never gets the same reply twice in a row.
  • The reply used least recently goes first.

If no saved reply is free, the AI writes one instead.

How replies get into the library

  • When you approve. Each reply you approve to a kind comment is saved, including your edits.
  • By hand. Open AI Replies, then the Reply library tab. Type under Add a reply and click Add.

Tips for a good library

  • Keep replies general. “Thank you, this made my day!” fits any post.
  • Mix lengths and tones. Some short, some with a question back.
  • Write the way you talk. These are your words in public.
  • Avoid one-post details, like a product name, unless every post is about it.

Good to know

  • Library replies follow your publishing choice. See review modes.
  • Each Instagram account has its own library. It never crosses to another account.
  • Replies are written in the language of the comment.
