How many AI replies do I get, and where do I see my usage?

Pro includes 250 AI drafts a month and Scale includes 1,500, shared by every AI feature. The AI usage screen shows what used each one, and drafts that fail are not counted.

AI is included in your plan price. You never pay per reply and never need your own AI account. The monthly allowance is what keeps that price flat, so it helps to know what uses it.

The allowance resets on the 1st of each month (UTC). Unused drafts do not carry over.
One pool for every AI feature
This is one allowance, not one per feature. All of these draw from it:
- Comment reply. The AI writes a reply to a comment on your post.
- DM reply. The AI DM assistant answers a message.
- Knowledge import. The AI reads a page or document you added and pulls out the facts.
- Safety check. The facts from that import are checked for anything unsafe. This runs on its own with every import.
So adding one document uses two drafts: the import and its safety check.
What does not use it
- Replies taken from your reply library. No AI writes them.
- Your normal automations, keyword DMs and follow-up emails. They are not AI.
- A draft that fails at the AI provider. It shows as not charged.
A question the AI reads but cannot answer from your facts does count. The AI still did the work of reading it.
Where to see your usage
There are three places:
- The AI budget box on the AI Replies page shows drafts left this month. Tap it for details.
- The AI budget card on your dashboard.
- The AI usage screen itself.
The AI usage screen shows:
- This month's allowance: how many you used, out of your plan’s total.
- What used it this month: a count for each feature, biggest first.
- Which account used it: a count per Instagram account, when you have more than one.
- Recent generations: the newest 30, each with the feature, time and account.
Filter by date, or pick Failed (not charged) to see failures. Click Download CSV for the full list.
When the month runs out
New AI drafts stop until the 1st. The AI Replies page then says You’ve used this month’s AI drafting allowance. with a link to See plans →.
While you wait:
- Replies from your reply library keep working.
- Your automations keep working as normal.
- Comments that arrive get no AI draft. They are not saved up for later.

Make your allowance go further
- Build your reply library to 10 or more replies. Kind comments then cost nothing.
- Add good facts. Fewer questions end in a skipped draft.
- Refresh a web page only after you change it. A refresh of a changed page is a new import and safety check. An unchanged page costs nothing.
- With several brands, check Which account used it to see who uses the most.
Good to know
- There is also a daily safety limit on AI comment drafts. If you reach it, drafting resumes the next day.
- At most 10 comment replies an hour and 50 a day are drafted for each Instagram account.
