# What are the limits of Replavia’s AI? > Replavia’s AI is on Pro and Scale only. It works best when you know exactly where it stops. Each limit below is how the product behaves today. There are two AI features: [AI comment replies](https://replavia.com/help/ai-comment-replies) and the [AI DM assistant](https://replavia.com/help/ai-dm-assistant). ## Plans and allowance - **Not on the Free plan.** Both AI features need Pro or Scale. - **One monthly allowance.** Pro includes 250 AI replies a month and Scale 1,500. Comment drafts and assistant replies share that one total. See [AI allowance and usage](https://replavia.com/help/ai-allowance-and-usage). - **A daily safety limit.** The assistant writes at most 500 replies a day per login, even on Scale. ## What the DM assistant cannot do - **Start a conversation.** It only replies to people who messaged you first. It also only answers people already in your Lead Inbox. - **Reply after 24 hours.** Instagram allows a reply only within 24 hours of the person’s last message. See [The 24-hour window](https://replavia.com/help/instagram-24-hour-window). - **Read photos or voice notes.** It reads text only. A message with no words gets no reply from it. It also replies in text only, plus your booking link. - **Answer outside your facts.** It is told to use only your offer, FAQ and knowledge pages. When those do not cover a question, it hands the person to you. The booking or payment happens there. It is told never to ask for card numbers, bank details, passwords or codes. - **Chat forever.** After 10 replies in one conversation it hands the person to you. Your story mention automations still run. - **Take over from a story automation.** Handover works only from **User DMs you** automations. A reply to your story goes to your story reply and DM automations first. The assistant only answers it if none of them matched. - **Remember everything.** It reads the last few messages in that chat, not the whole history. - **Hide that it is automated.** It always says so. DMs to commenters come only from your scripted comment automations. - **Reply to comments your automations already handled.** If a scripted automation matched the comment, the AI writes nothing. - **Reply on live videos.** Comments during a live video get no AI draft. ## What it does not do on its own - **Learn by itself.** It does not change from chatting. To improve it, edit your FAQ, your offer or your [knowledge library](https://replavia.com/help/knowledge-library). - **Guess a price, policy or promise.** It is told never to invent them. If a fact is missing, add it. ## Good to know - These limits keep conversations honest and inside Instagram’s rules.
