# How do I stop answering the same questions in my Instagram DMs?

## The problem

You post something, and your DMs fill with “how much?”, “price?” and “do you ship?”. You type the same answer again and again. Some people wait hours, and some give up.

Replavia lets you write each answer once. Then it sends that answer for you, with no typing on your side.

## 1. Answer before they type: ice breakers

Ice breakers are tappable questions that people see when they open a chat with you. You write up to four, like “What are your prices?”. When someone taps one, Replavia sends the reply you wrote.

1. Open **Ice breakers** in the menu.
2. Add a question and its reply. Repeat for your most common questions.
3. Click **Save & push to Instagram**.

## 2. One answer, any wording: topics

People ask the same thing in many ways. With a topic, “how much?”, “price?” and “your rates?” all reach one saved answer.

1. Create an automation with the trigger **User DMs you** or **User replies to your story**.
2. Under **Or answer by what they mean**, tick a topic, such as **Asking the price** or **Shipping and delivery**.
3. Write your answer, then click **Save & activate**.

Topics are rule-based, not AI, so they are on every plan, including Free. Your own keywords are checked first. See [How to answer a DM by topic](https://replavia.com/help/answer-by-topic).

## 3. Start from a template

On a new, empty automation, pick the **Price enquiries** template. It answers “how much?” comments in the DMs instead of in public. Add your own answer or link and save. See [Templates](https://replavia.com/help/automation-templates).

## 4. Let the AI carry the conversation (Pro and Scale)

A saved answer covers the first question. The follow-up questions still need someone. On Pro and Scale, the AI DM assistant can keep chatting from the facts you give it.

It answers only from your offer, your FAQ and your knowledge pages. When it cannot answer, or the person asks for a human, it hands them to you. They then appear on the **Waiting for you** list. See [How the AI DM assistant works](https://replavia.com/help/ai-dm-assistant).

## What Replavia does not do

- It does not read your mind. It sends the answers you wrote, or answers from facts you gave it.
- It does not reply to the same person over and over. In a DM automation, each person gets the reply once a day. For a story reply, it is once per story.
- The AI assistant stops after 10 replies in one conversation and passes the person to you.
