# How to give the AI facts about your business

> On Pro and Scale, add web pages or upload documents and Replavia saves the useful facts from them. AI comment replies and the AI DM assistant answer questions using those facts.

## What it does

The AI should answer questions with your real prices, hours and policies. The knowledge library is where you give it those facts.

You add a web page or a document. The AI reads it once, picks out the useful facts and safety-checks them. Then it shows you exactly which facts it saved.

Both AI comment replies and the AI DM assistant use these facts. Question replies use the facts that best match each question.

## Add a web page

1. Open **AI Replies** in the menu.
2. Open the **Web knowledge** tab.
3. Paste the link to a page on your own website, such as your menu or price list.
4. Click **Add page**.

## Upload a document

1. Open **AI Replies** in the menu, then the **Documents** tab.
2. Choose a PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD or CSV file up to 4 MB.
3. Click **Upload**. Reading a document can take up to a minute.

Scanned or photographed PDFs have no text the AI can read. Use a PDF exported from a document instead.

## Check what was saved

Each source shows how many facts were saved. Click **Facts saved from this source** to read them. If a fact is wrong, correct your page or file and add it again.

For a web page, the **Refresh** button reads the page again. If the page has not changed, a refresh uses nothing from your allowance. The **Remove** button deletes a source. Replies you already approved still post, but future replies stop using its facts.

## Good to know

- Replavia keeps only the facts. The page or file itself is not stored.
- Nothing you add is used to train an AI model. The facts are handed to the AI only when it writes a reply.
- Each source belongs to one Instagram account. With several accounts, pick the account in the box next to a source and click **Set** to move it. Use **Copy to…** and **Copy** to give another account its own copy. Neither uses your AI allowance. A source is only used for the account it belongs to.
- A source marked **Assign an account…** is not used by the AI until you pick an account.
- Instagram pages and other Meta pages cannot be added. Link your own website, or type the details into your FAQ.
- The library is on Pro and Scale. On Free, the page shows an upgrade message.
